Baume & Mercier began in 1830 when two brothers, Louis-Victor and Celestin Baume, opened a watch dealership in Les Bois, Switzerland.

Its business grew quickly and its motto to “accept only perfection, only manufacture watches of the highest quality” became something that has been present in Baume Mercier watch collections for centuries.

The brand became known for its chronographs and grand complication models. It has won 10 Grand Prix awards and seven gold medals.

The awards are well-deserved, as the accuracy and precision of the brand’s watches remain unmatched.
